autumn has finally begun.
On 9 October it was a great day of action across Italy, a day that saw students and workers fall again protest against the measures of this government.
150,000 students and 250,000 workers (though few have spoken) have marched in procession to the cities of Italy, giving evidence of a large force of mobilization, of course not yet sufficient to defeat this government.
In Trieste the students' has been quite significant, albeit insufficient to scream success.
Probably the official numbers (1000 students) are to be revised downward, but we must not lose faith.
This was indeed the first ever mobilization of the school year and, to take account of, the first since the strong ebb last Wave year.
How Young Communists we intervened with a small piece at the bottom of the procession, which had nearly thirty companions.
We were also present with a flyer that we managed to achieve widespread use for the parade.
the end (with a little note with pride) we intervened in the debate that opened at the end of the parade, gathering with our assistance the most applause.
From the program, was held at 17:00 the meeting organized in collaboration with the Circle City Center of PRC.
The meeting was attended by about 25 companions, young and old, including Alessandro Sfrecola Precarious National Committee and Fabio Tamburini Fiom in Ferriera.
The purpose of the meeting was to try to give an answer to a very important question: " do after October 9? "
It 'clear that the mobilization must continue and expand. It 'also true that mobilized students need a clear reason for taking to the streets or you risk making the same mistakes of last year.

We need to broaden the front of struggle that is developing against Berlusconi, because unfortunately there is no real parliamentary opposition to the Government. The only opposition we are, is the square, are students, temporary workers, the workers.
From the Young Communist League in this city we want to try to represent this. Let us turn to that political organization bringing together students and young people of this city around these two requirements:
1) clear platform of struggle and of alternative (not just the school of Gelmini, but alternatively the entire capitalist system). Why the crisis does not rain from the sky, but is the result of an economic system that has failed
2) strong unity with the world of work, both inside and outside the school. The word is the general strike, only then can we stop the country and force the government to listen.

I the day same at 18, House of the People in via Ponziana, held a public meeting organized by in cooperation with PRC + PdCI DonneaConfronto (Communist Workers and students) on issues of territorial health entitled "Prevention is better than admitting," Defence pre-hospital health systems and territorial diwelfare for the elderly and young people (Microarea and consultants)
