Plumcake "Offline"

After many recipes "stolen" here and there from Web sites, cookbooks and online blog (even super-blog) other passionate cooks, finally a recipe for "Offline" .
One of those that pass between colleagues, who enrich themselves through word of mouth ("I loved what I've, I've removed that, and try it also so that is perfect") and - let's face it - the recipes are always best!
Yes, because anywhere there's this tendency to publish recipes in industrial quantities, with this ingredient and that, and as if the possible combinations of ingredients were endless.
And every so often you come across recipes also unlikely that there is often asked, someone has ever tried to do?

Here then is a sure recipe was born - and grew - out of the net!

Plumcake beans and pecorino

180 grams of flour
200 grams of beans (fresh or frozen)
100 gr grated pecorino cheese
1 orange untreated
3 eggs
1 shallot or scallion
1 packet of yeast for pies (not brewers yeast!)
1.2 dl milk
1 dl olive oil

Making dried shallots (or onion) in a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil.
Then add the frozen beans, a pinch of salt and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, adding, if needed, a ladle of hot water. When cooked, add pepper.

In a bowl, beat eggs and add the flour and yeast, the remaining oil, a pinch of salt, milk, cheese and orange peel. Then combine the beans to the mixture.
Mix and pour into a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.

Oven: 180 degrees
Time: 45 minutes

Remove from oven and let cool.
E 'great as an appetizer and served with meats.

This recipe lends itself to many variations: try to replace the beans with zucchini or green beans, or add to the mixture of small pieces of ham or bacon.

Business Answer Machine Messages

still her .. the bread machine!

Yes, because in this period (in which time, as I said, seemed to evaporate and run al'impazzata) the only one not to abandon it was just her, I dedicate the first post in 2009 to an appliance most exploited of the year: the bread machine!

Bread with Caramelized Onions

gr. 280 Water
2 onions

gr. 350 flour 00 gr

. 150 Manitoba

1 teaspoon sugar

2 teaspoons salt 1 tablespoon oil

1 packet of yeast lyophilized

Slice the onions and cook in a pan with a little 'oil until they are golden.
(if you prefer a lighter recipe, it is obviously possible to cook with water).
Add salt and pepper.

Place in bread machine water, oil, salt and sugar. Then add flour and baking powder.

Add the caramelized onions to the beep of the machine, so that will not melt but remain apart.

Program: base
Crust: Media

forgot .. The recipe comes from cookbook GLF, a very useful collection of recipes for bread machine.
